Bethyl

Product Name:

anti-G6PD antibody

Catalog Number:

A300-404A

We study Glucose 6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase in our lab. There are several reasonably good antibodies on the market but we think that the Bethyl one is the best in general. We have been using this antibody for several years and are very happy with it.

Results Summary

We obtain very clean bands on Western Blot with this antibody. Note, we have found that the bands sometimes are hard to detect unless we use the right kind of Odyssey Blocking Buffer and a good strong fluorescent infrared secondary antibody (in this case, we used LiCor antibody 925-68073). For this particular experimental setup, we don't like to use Casein Buffer. We prefer Licor 927-40100. That is the way to get the brightest bands.
