Quantitative ELISAs for murine sera/mucosal samples require a murine standard. To detect an accurate standard, it is required to be bound to the ELISA plate. This antibody is one required to bind the murine antibody standard.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

ELISA

Sample

Purified immunoglobulin

Primary Incubation

Overnight at 4C. Diluted 1:3200 in 1x PBS. Coated at 100ul per well.

Blocking Agent

1x PBS, 1% BSA, 0.05% Tween-20

Secondary Incubation

Purified Ig diluted in 1x PBS, 1% BSA, 0.05% Tween-20 for 1hr at 37C

Tertiary Incubation

Goat anti-mouse Ig diluted in 1x PBS, 1% BSA, 0.05% Tween-20 for 1hr at 37C

Detection

Goat Anti-Mouse Immunoglobulin

Results Summary

This provides a standard, with an R2-value of more than 0.999 if used correctly, in concert with Goat Anti-mouse kappa light chain as the coating antibody.
