Scientist
Katherine Mechling, B.Sci., is a scientist with MilliporeSigma, the life science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, leading development efforts for GenElute™-E nucleic acid sample preparation products and assisting with the development of mPAGE™ SDS-PAGE precast gels/accessories. Currently, she optimizes workflows for nucleic acids and proteins and leads efforts for sustainable product development. Ms. Mechling’s experience in molecular biology includes development/validation of assays for clinical diagnostic applications (such as cancer and pathogen detection), and pharmacokinetic ligand binding assay development.

In this webinar, the sample preparation workflows for genomic DNA isolation are highlighted and we introduce a new technology from MilliporeSigma called GenElute™-E single spin technology.
