Engineering

Antibody engineering involves the modification of antibodies to enhance their properties, such as specificity and affinity, and to develop novel antibody formats. The process includes techniques such as protein engineering and genetic modification. Bispecific antibodies, which can bind to two different antigens, and antibody-drug conjugates, which deliver cytotoxic drugs to targeted cells, are two notable examples of engineered antibodies.
