Principle of the assay: </b<This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Col II. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a biotin-conjugated Col II and avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of Col II antibody bound in the initial step.
