Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the direct competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microplate was pre-coated with an antibody specific to HBF. Add HBF (Standards or samples) to the well, and then add HRP-conjugated HBF. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between HBF (Standards or samples) and HRP conjugated HBF with the pre-coated antibody specific for HBF. The substrate solutions are added to the wells, respectively. And the color develops in opposite to the amount of HBF bound in the initial step.
