Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzymeimmunoassay technique. An antibody specific to FGG has beenpre-coated onto a microplate. Standards or samples are addedto the appropriate microtiter plate wells with HRP-conjugatedFGG and incubated. A competitive inhibition reaction is launchedbetween FGG (Standards or samples) and HRP-conjugatedFGG with the pre-coated antibody specific for FGG. The moreamount of FGG in samples, the less antibody bound byHRP-conjugated FGG. Then the substrate solutions are addedto the wells, respectively. And the color develops in opposite tothe amount of FGG in the sample. The color development isstopped and the intensity of the color is measured
