Description
The competitive SDMA (Symmetric Dimethylarginine) ELISA Kit uses the microtiter plate format. SDMA is bound to the solid phase of the microtiter plate. SDMA in the samples is acylated and competes with solid phase bound SDMA for a fixed number of rabbit anti-SDMA antiserum binding sites. When the system is in equilibrium, free Antigens and free Antigens-antiserum complexes are removed by washing. The antibody bound to the solid phase SDMA is detected by anti-rabbit / peroxidase. The substrate TMB / peroxidase reaction is monitored at 450 nm. The amount of antibody bound to the solid phase SDMA is inversely proportional to the SDMA concentration of the sample
