K562 cells were subjected to ChIP and the purified DNA was analyzed by qPCR using primers specific for the TFII-I binding peak at the DNMT1 and EFR3A gene loci. The data represent the results of two independent experiments with the qPCR performed in triplicate. Data showing reduced association of TFII-I and Elongin A (TCEB3) with the DNMT1 and EFR3A genes were statistically significant (P < 0.05).
