Western blot was performed using Anti-Golgi protein 58k Polyclonal Antibody(Product # PA5-22075) and a 58kDa band corresponding to Golgi protein 58k was observed across all cell lines and tissues tested except HeLa, HEK-293, Mouse Kidney, Mouse Heart and Rat Brain which are reported to be negative. Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of Hep G2 (Lane 1), HeLa (Lane 2), HEK-293 (Lane 3), Mouse Liver (Lane 4), Mouse Kidney (Lane 5), Mouse Heart (Lane 6), Rat Liver (Lane 7) and Rat Brain (Lane 8) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 4-12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0321BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036,1:4000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752).
