Western blot analysis was performed on whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of 3T3-L1 (Lane 1), 3T3-L1 differentiated to adipocytes (Lane 2), NIH/3T3 (Lane 3), NTERA-2 (Lane 4), Daudi (Lane 5), Mouse Kidney (Lane 6), Mouse Liver (Lane 7), Mouse Adipose (Lane 8) and Mouse Testis (Lane 9). The blot was probed with Anti-HSL Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-17196, 1:1,000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4,000 dilution). An 80 kDa band corresponding to the short form of HSL was observed across all cell lines and tissues tested except for NIH/3T3, Daudi, Mouse Kidney and Mouse Liver. The 120 kDa long form of HSL, which is only reported in steroidogenic tissues, was observed in Mouse Testis.
