Fig 2: RNA-seq transcriptome analysis of CGL1FRA1 cells relative to CGL1dCas9 cells. (A) A volcano plot illustrating the 298 differentially expressed genes (DEG) between CGL1FRA1 and CGL1dCas9 cells (DEG criteria: fold change <−1.5 and >1.5 and FDR adjusted p-value < 0.05). The red and blue dots represent 124 upregulated genes and 174 downregulated genes, respectively, in CGL1FRA1 cells relative to CGL1dCas9 cells. The left and right sides of the plot depict highly dysregulated genes, while genes higher on the graph indicate increased statistical significance. (B) Validation of RNA-seq dataset using RT-qPCR analysis. Twelve representative genes were randomly selected from the RNA-seq analysis. This list included six DEGs (ITGA4, FOSL1, CD24, ITGβ8, FOS, and FN1) and six non-DEGs (CCND1, EGFR, JUN, ITGB1, LAMA1, and CTNNB1).
