The R3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with Human CD93, a glycoprotein that binds to C1q and is also known as C1qRp. Cd93 is highly express on monocytes and macrophages, but not on B and T cells and is involved in phagocytosis, migration, and adhesion. It is reported to be used to define a stem cell population with hematopoietic potential
