Description
PDK2 encodes a member of the pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase family. Pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 2 phosphorylates pyruvate dehydrogenase, down-regulating the activity of the mitochondrial pyruvate dehydrogenase complex.
