MyBioSource.com's Anti-ETS1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody. This antibody has been shown to work in applications such as: Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence. The Anti-ETS1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal was generated using ETS1 as the antigen and it reacts with Human.
Description
The ETS transcription factors regulate expression of genes involved in normal cell development, proliferation, differentiation, angiogenesis, and apoptosis, consisting of 28 family members in humans. Dysregulation of these transcription factors facilitates cell proliferation in cancers, and several members participate in invasion and metastasis by activating gene transcription. ETS1 and ETS2 are the founding members of the ETS family and regulate transcription by binding to ETS sequences. They are both involved in oncogenesis and tumor suppression depending on the biological situations used. ETS1 could be used as a novel marker of poor response to DDP and a potential therapeutic target for TNBC chemotherapy. the ETS1 transcription factor was found to enhance the VEGFA/VEGFR2 expression by directly binding to their promoters and facilitated FGF9-dependent elevation of VEGF-signaling which augmented the metastatic potential of Ovarian cancer (OC) cells
