DNAAF6 (also known as CILD36; PIH1D3; CXorf41; NYSAR97; TWISTER) is located on human chromosome Xq22.3, comprises 8 exons, and encompasses approximately 38 kb of genomic DNA. PIH1D3 is one of four members of a protein family interacting with Hsp90 (PIH1). The PIH1D3 protein is restrictedly expressed toward testis. Structurally, the encoded PIH1D3 protein is reported to be 24069 Da in mass.
