Human adenylyl cyclase type 7 (ADCY7, also known as AC7) is a member of the adenylyl cyclase gene family, and it may be the major form of adenylyl cyclase expressed in human platelets. ADCY7 gene contains 26 exons and spans over 38.6 kb. The deduced protein contains 12 membrane-spanning domains, a characteristic of the adenylyl cyclase enzyme family.
