SZRD1 (SUZ RNA Binding Domain Containing 1, also known as C1orf144) is a Protein Coding gene. The SZRD1 gene, located on 1p36.13, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, and frog. SZRD1 belongs to the SZRD1 family and is a novel gene screened out by a high-throughput platform. Bioinformatics analysis indicates that SZRD1 is a highly conserved intracellular protein. 5 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported.
