The Rabbit Anti-LGALS3BP Antibody was generated using galectin 3 binding protein, and LGALS3BP as the antigen and it reacts with Human.
Description
LGALS3BP (Galectin 3 Binding Protein, also called Mac-2 binding protein) is a Protein Coding gene. LGALS3BP is a heavily glycosylated secreted molecule that has been shown previously to be up-regulated in many cancers and has been implicated in tumor metastatic processes, as well as in other cell adhesion and immune functions. LGALS3BP has been found elevated in the serum of patients with cancer and those infected by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). It appears to be implicated in immune response associated with natural killer (NK) and lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cell cytotoxicity. LGALS3BP is widely expressed in the stomach, colon, and other tissues. Diseases associated with LGALS3BP include Gnathomiasis and Henoch-Schoenlein Purpura
