MZT2A (Mitotic Spindle Organizing Protein 2A), located on human chromosome 2q21.1, Belongs to the MOZART2 family. The MZT2A (also known as FAM128A; MOZART2A) gene is conserved in Rhesus monkey, mouse, and rat. MZT2A is associated with some diseases, including Keratoconus 9. An important paralog of this gene is MZT2B
