MyBioSource.com's Anti-DDB1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody. This antibody has been shown to work in applications such as: Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, Immunohistochemistry - fixed, Immunoprecipitation, and Western Blot.
Description
DNA damage-binding protein 1 (DDB1) is a large subunit of the heterodimeric DDB complex that recognizes DNA lesions and initiates the nucleotide excision repair process. DDB1 is also a component of the CUL4 E3 ligase complex involved in a broad spectrum of cellular processes by targeted ubiquitination of key regulators. A subclass of DDB1 (damaged DNA binding protein-1)-binding WD40-repeat domain (DWD) family proteins has been demonstrated to function as the substrate recognition subunits of the cullin4-ring ubiquitin E3 ligase complex
