C1orf68 (Chromosome 1 Open Reading Frame 68) is located on human chromosome 1q21.3. C1orf68 is expressed at high levels in normal and psoriatic skin, but not in normal keratinocytes, A-431 cells, or any of the other cell lines or tissues tested. The C1orf68 (also known as LEP7; XP32) gene is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, and rat. C1orf68 is associated with some diseases, including Candidal Paronychia and Neonatal Candidiasis. An important paralog of this gene is LCE1F
