MRPS26 (Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S26) is a Protein Coding gene. The MRPS26 gene, located on 20p13, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, and zebrafish. MRPS26 belongs to the mitochondrion-specific ribosomal protein mS26 family.
