Description
TBL3 (Transducin Beta Like 3) is a Protein Coding gene. The TBL3 gene, located on 16p13.3, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, and rat, etc. This gene has multiple polyadenylation sites. It might have multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants. The protein encoded by this gene has sequence similarity with members of the WD40 repeat-containing protein family. TBL3 is widely expressed in the testis, skin, and other tissues. TBL3 plays a tissue-specific role in regulating the cell cycle rate during development. Diseases associated with TBL3 include Theileriasis and Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease. Among its related pathways are rRNA processing in the nucleus and cytosol and Gene Expression
