MyBioSource.com's Anti-PLEKHH2 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody. This antibody has been shown to work in applications such as: Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence.
Description
Pleckstrin homology domain-containing, family H (with MyTH4 domain), member 2 (Plekhh2) is a 1491-residue intracellular protein highly enriched in renal glomerular podocytes. Mouse Plekhh2 was identified in a screen of genes upregulated in kidney glomerulus. The mouse and human PLEKHH2 proteins contain pleckstrin (PLEK) homology (PH), myth4, and band 4.1 domains. PH domains are implicated in phosphatidylinositol phospholipid signaling, and band 4.1 domains interact with integral membrane proteins. PLEKHH2 may be involved in stabilization of F-actin by attenuating its depolymerization. PLEKHH2 can recruit TGFB1I1 from focal adhesions to podocyte lamellipodia
