Overview: Kinase that phosphorylates MYL2 in vitro. Promotes sarcomere formation in cardiomyocytes and increases cardiomyocyte contractility.
Structure: Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase family.
Expression: Restricted to heart
