Western blot was performed using Anti-GSTP1 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (28) (Product # MA5-29314) and a 23 kDa band corresponding to Glutathione S-transferase P was observed across in PC-3, HeLa, MOLT-4, HT-29, MCF 10A and MDA-MB-231 which are reported to be positive and not in any other cell lines. Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of PC-3 (Lane 1), LNCaP (Lane 2), HeLa (Lane 3), MOLT-4 (Lane 4), HT-29 (Lane 5), MCF 10A (Lane 6), MDA-MB-231 (Lane 7), MCF7 (Lane 8) and Hep G2 (Lane 9) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 10% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0302BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23002) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036, 1:4000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).
