MyBioSource.com's eRF3a Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody. This antibody has been shown to work in applications such as: ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, and Western Blot. The eRF3a Antibody was generated using GSPT1 as the antigen and it reacts with Human, and Mouse.
Description
Function: Involved in translation termination in response to the termination codons UAA, UAG and UGA. Stimulates the activity of ERF1. Involved in regulation of mammalian cell growth. Component of the transient SURF complex which recruits UPF1 to stalled ribosomes in the context of nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) of mRNAs containing premature stop codons.
Subunit Structure: Component of the transient SURF (SMG1-UPF1-eRF1-eRF3) complex.
Similarity: Belongs to the TRAFAC class translation factor GTPase superfamily. Classic translation factor GTPase family. ERF3 subfamily
