Description

There is a growing demand for anesthesia equipment designed for small laboratory animals. RWD designs and manufactures complete anesthesia systems and accessories for the smallest preclinical research subjects. These systems are designed to deliver highly effective anesthesia with depth modulation. RWD systems are also designed with user safety as a priority. The system includes excellent waste gas scavenging to protect users from the negative effects of short-term exposure to anesthetic gases.

These complete anesthesia solutions are perfect for new labs or if you are in the process of upgrading your current system. You can also add separate components.

Multi-function Anesthesia Solutions:
The experimental system is equipped with a gas recovery system to provide a safe experimental environment to maximize the protection of the operator. You have the ability to replace the different types of anesthesia machines and masks to meet the needs of the animal experiments, such as cerebral ischemia and myocardial ischemia model, osteoporosis model, tail vein injection, abdominal aorta blood sampling, heart blood sampling, ventricular injection, tissue/organ removal, and other animal surgery experiments.

Stereotaxic Anesthesia Solutions:
By changing the different types of stereotaxic instruments and adaptors, you can meet the needs of different animal experiments, such as the neurological disease models (Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s disease, craniocerebral injury, spinal cord injury, etc.), brain drug injection, cannula implantation (long term repeated administration), physiology experiments (such as nerve stimulation, signal recording, wireless telemetry, etc.), microdialysis experiments (probe implantation and short-term dialysis), and other experiments.

Combination Solutions of Ventilator to Anesthesia System:
This solution offers a combination of anesthesia machines and ventilators. While keeping the animal under anesthesia, the ventilator provides a certain volume (tidal volume) of oxygen and respiratory rate to support the normal breathing of animals. It can meet the requirements of long surgeries or surgeries on animals suffering from certain diseases (such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hypertension, cerebral infarction, and thrombosis), and is suitable for mice, rats, rabbits, cats, and other animals within 5KG.

Small Anesthesia Machines
These small animal anesthesia systems can offer an improved level of control over the depth and duration of anesthesia, especially for prolonged procedures.

  • R500 Compact Anesthesia Machine:
Choose between isoflurane or sevoflurane with various options for air supply (oxygen or air, 0.1-4L/min flowmeter), induction chambers, masks, filter canisters, and gas evacuation apparatuses, selected for anesthesia maintenance of different animals. Suitable for mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, and other animals within 7kg. Optional upgrade into portable anesthesia machine, saving space and facilitating movement.

  • R550 Multi-Output Anesthesia Machine:
Simultaneous anesthesia for 1-5 small animals, including mice, rats, cats, rabbits, and other animals within 7kg with independent control of every channel. The main oxygen flowmeter allows 0.1-4L/min with gas flow to the induction chamber independently controlled from 0-2.5L/min. Choose between isoflurane or sevoflurane with various options for air supply (oxygen or air), induction chambers, masks, filter canisters, and gas evacuation apparatuses, selected for anesthesia maintenance of different animals. Optional upgrade into portable anesthesia machine, saving space and facilitating movement.

  • R530 Portable Anesthesia Machine:
Choose between isoflurane or sevoflurane. Includes fixed brackets for induction chamber, gas evacuation apparatus, and optional filter canister. Various options for air supply (oxygen or air, 0.1-4L/min flowmeter), induction chambers, masks, filter canisters, and gas evacuation apparatuses should be purchased separately.

  • R620-S1 Universal Veterinary Anesthesia Machine:
Applicable to clinical anesthesia of dogs, cats, pigs, monkeys, rodents, reptiles, birds, etc. Choose between isoflurane or sevoflurane with an oxygen flowmeter administering 0.1-4L/min. Comes with a rail-mounted CO2 absorber (1.8L) and weighing apparatus with an intelligent alarm design to prevent waste gas overload. Optional MR conditional animal anesthesia machine.

Vaporizers:
RWD anesthesia machine vaporizer adopts an advanced design to accurately control the output concentration of anesthesia. Pour Fill, Easy Fill, Key Fill, Cagemount, and Selectatec are available. Stable concentration output unaffected by flow, temperature, and pressure.

  • The built-in temperature compensator ensures the stable concentration of anesthetic gas at different temperatures and flow rates, the flow range is 0.2-10L/min
  • Mixed anesthetic gas output pressure range P ≤2.5kPa
  • Applicable temperature range: 10-35°C
  • Good tightness, internal 50kPa pressure can be maintained with zero leakage, safe and reliable
  • Internal capacity is not less than 120ml and the ranges of vaporizer concentration are Isoflurane: 0-5% and Sevoflurane: 0-8 %
  • Lock structure and open/close security protection ensure safety The average filling rate is greater than 2ml/s and the dosing adapter can withstand the pressure of 0.1mpa without leakage (Key Fill)

Active Gas Evacuation Unit:
The gas evacuation apparatus was designed to safely and actively remove waste gas associated with everyday inhalation anesthesia. The waste gas from cone masks, concentric tubing masks, and stereotaxic frame nosecone masks can be pulled through an activated charcoal canister so that the air can be re-circulated into the room. The evacuation apparatus will accommodate a waste gas supply of up to 5 masks. The newest design has been upgraded to offer a wider range of exhaust flow, low noise, and exquisite exterior design.

Ventilators:
Mechanical ventilation device following veterinary clinical practice. 3 modes of operation include VCV, PIPCV, and APNEA to meet multiple clinical applications. Accommodate a variety of animals with real-time adjustable respiratory ratio and airway pressure rate and choose from two different sized bellows for output tidal volume of 20~300mL or 300~1500mL.

Face Masks:
For inhalation anesthesia without respiration support, RWD has 3 face masks available:
  • Concentric Tubing Masks
  • Cone Masks
  • Stereotaxic Frame Nosecone Masks
  • Imaging Masks
  • Bowl Mask
