Description
Principle of the assay: This assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Anti-Rituximab antibodies are detected by bridging a coating antigen and detection antigen identical to Rituximab. QC and test samples are pipetted into the appropriate wells. After washing away any unbound substances, a biotinylated secondary antibody is added, followed by an additional wash and adding the detection reagent. The color development is proportional to the amount of anti-Rituximab antibody present in test samples and is compared to a series of positive control samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Background: characterized by abnormal or excessive B cells. It targets CD20, which is expressed on the surface of B cells, to induce apoptosis in B cells expressing CD20 and is used in the treatment of leukemias and lymphomas, some autoimmune disorders, and transplant rejections. A qualitiative method for rituximab has been developed and optimized for monitoring anti-Rituximab antibodies in biological matrices. The anti-Rituximab ELISA kit is a sandwich assay for the determination of antibodies against rituximab in serum and plasma samples. Our ELISA-based kits combine a fast, user-friendly format with a sensitive and specific assay. This assay is capable of detecting all isotypes of anti-rituximab antibodies
