Description
Deoxyribonuclease (DNase) is widely found in nature, and even trace amounts of DNase can contaminate common molecular biology reagents, especially those involving DNA. Therefore, a DNase residue detection reagent is needed that can be tested for DNase residue in any DNA-related solution. The DNase Detection Kit provides a convenient and sensitive fluorescent detection method for the detection of DNase in proteins, nucleic acids, reagent solutions, and other samples. DNase Substrate is a novel DNase substrate that is labeled with a fluorophore at one end and a quencher at the other, and the physical distance of the quenchor inhibits the fluorescence emitted by the fluorophore to a very low level. By short-wave UV irradiation or detection in a fluorometer, solutions contaminated with DNase fluoresce green, while solutions without DNase do not
