Description
Ribonuclease Inhibitor is a protein that binds to and inhibits the activity of ribonucleases, enzymes that degrade RNA molecules. It is encoded by the RNH1 gene in pigs. RNH1 is a 50 kDa protein that is widely expressed in mammalian cells and consists of 15 leucine-rich repeats that form a horseshoe-shaped overall structure.
