Description

This Mouse Adiponectin Rapid ELISA Kit is intended is a fast ELISA kit, this assay takes less than 1.5 hours to detect Mouse Adiponectin/ADIPOQ with <10pg/ml sensitivity. format: 96-well plate with removable strips. Compatible samples: cell culture supernates, serum, plasma (heparin, EDTA) and urine. This is a TMB colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit with short assay time and fast experiment set up. Adiponectin/ADIPOQ tissue specificity: Synthesized exclusively by adipocytes and secreted into plasma. Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This mouse Adiponectin ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for Adiponectin has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards (NSO, E18-N244) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for Adiponectin is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the mouse Adiponectin amount of sample captured in plate.
The capture antibody is monoclonal antibody from rat, the detection antibody is polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Adiponectin (ADPN) is a hormone secreted by adipocytes that regulates energy homeostasis and glucose and lipid metabolism. Adiponectin is a new member of the family of soluble defense collagens, in hematopoiesis and immune responses. It is an important negative regulator in hematopoiesis and immune systems and raise the possibility that it may be involved in ending inflammatory responses through its inhibitory functions. Adiponectin is mapped to 3q27 and can protect the organism from systemic inflammation by promoting the clearance of early apoptotic cells by macrophages through a receptor-dependent pathway involving calreticulin
