Description
This Human Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 3 (PAI-3) ELISA Kit is intended for Quantitative Detection of human Serpin A5 in cell culture supernates, serum, plasma (heparin, EDTA) and urine. Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This human Serpin A5 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A polyclonal antibody from goat specific for Serpin A5 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards (Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: E26-P406) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for Serpin A5 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human Serpin A5 amount of sample captured in plate.
The capture antibody is a polyclonal antibody from goat, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Protein C inhibitor (PCI), also known as SERPINA5, is serine protease inhibitor of serpin type that is found in most tissues and fluids, including blood plasma, seminal plasma and urine of human. It is a 52kD glycoprotein and belongs to serine protease inhibitor (Serpin) super family of protein. This family member is a glycoprotein that can inhibit several serine proteases, including protein C and various plasminogen activators and kallikreins, and it thus plays diverse roles in hemostasis and thrombosis in multiple organs. This gene is mapped on the q arm of chromosome 14
