Description

This Human Interleukin-19 ELISA Kit is intended for Quantitative Detection of human IL-19 in cell culture supernates, serum, plasma (heparin, EDTA) and urine. Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This human IL-19 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for IL-19 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards (Expression system for standard: E Coli, Immunogen sequence: L25-A177) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for IL-19 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human IL-19 amount of sample captured in plate.
The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from mouse, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Interleukin 19 (IL19) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IL19 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that belongs to the IL-10 cytokine subfamily. This cytokine is found to be preferentially expressed in monocytes. It can bind the interleukin-20 receptor complex and lead to the activation of the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3). A similar cytokine in mouse is reported to up-regulate the expression of IL6 and TNF-alpha and induce apoptosis, which suggests a role of this cytokine in inflammatory responses. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the distinct isoforms have been described
