Description
A naïve T cell is a T cell that has differentiated in bone marrow, and successfully undergone the positive and negative processes of central selection in the thymus. Among these are the naïve forms of helper T cells (CD4+) and cytotoxic T cells (CD8+). A naïve T cell is considered mature and, unlike activated or memory T cells, has not encountered its cognate antigen within the periphery. Use SuperBeads® Human Naïve CD8+ T Cell Isolation Kit to isolate untouched and highly purified naïve CD8+ T cells (CD8+CD45RA+CCR7+ and CD45RO-CD57-CD56-) from fresh human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) by immunomagnetic negative selection. The kit depletes other kinds of cells. The negatively isolated Human Naïve CD8+ T Cells are left in the sample and have not been touched with the SuperBeads.
