Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Fluoroquinolon es antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Fluoroquinolones specific antibody and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated anti-antibody. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between pre-coated Fluoroquinolones and Fluoroquinolones in standards or samples with the Fluoroquinolones special antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Fluoroquinolones in the standards or samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
