Description
GenPlates are a proprietary 384 well storage plate for storage of biosamples including dried blood samples (DBS) at ambient temperatures. GenPlates are integrated with GenTegra's proprietary GenSaver paper where biosamples can be collected, dried and stored for long-term storage without the need for freezing. Upon application of 10 µL of blood or other biosample directly to the well with the GenSaver paper and drying, the cells are lysed and release DNA into the fibrous matrix of the GenSaver paper. The entwined biosample is dried completely at room temperature and the dried sample is sealed with an adhesive cover sheet and is ready for storage or transport at ambient temperature.
