Vesna Vetma is a cell biologist currently working in Alessio Ciulli's collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim at University of Dundee, U.K. She got her BSc and MSc degree in Molecular Biology from University of Zagreb, Croatia. She did her Ph.D. in Cancer biology as a part of interdisciplinary Melplex consortium, a Horizon 2020 MSCA funded research program aimed at elucidating melanoma, under supervision of Prof. Dr. Markus Rehm and Prof. Dr. Dagmar Kulms (University of Stuttgart, Germany). She has been a part of Alessio's group since 2019 and she focuses on developing and implementing cell-based assays and proteomics to gain a better understanding on mechanisms of targeted protein degradation.
