George was born and raised in Houston, TX. He received a BS in Biology from Baylor University, followed by a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2009. He completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Cancer Immunology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and then joined Beckman Coulter as a Cell Biologist in 2012. At Beckman Coulter, George works in a variety of areas, ranging from inventing new technologies to conducting basic-science research, and routinely collaborates with researchers around the globe in order to help bring future technologies to reality. One of his current focus areas within Beckman Coulter involves optimizing and innovating both instruments and sample-preparation methods to improve the detection, resolution and immunophenotyping of extracellular vesicles, viruses and other biological nanoparticles.
