For rapid elution of DNA from agarose gel slices
Simply excise a band from the gel, place it in the spin column, and centrifuge for five minutes. DNA is forced through the column into the tube below, while agarose is left behind. DNA is ready for subsequent manipulations such as restriction enzyme digestion or ligation.
- No electroelution is needed; columns only require microcentrifuge
