A dietary triterpene with potent anti-inflammatory, anticarcinogenic, antimutagenic, and antimaralial activity; suppresses the growth of hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines (IC50s ~ 45 µM and melanonma cell lines (IC50s ~ 75 µM), decreases blood pressure in hypertensive rats, and inhibits neutrophil migration in a carrageenan-induced edema model
