A furanocoumarin with antibacterial activities; prevents tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in HepG2 cells (EC50 = 47 µg/ml) and vascular relaxation in phenylephrine-precontracted rat aorta; weakly inhibits topoisomerase II (IC50 = 404 µM)
