Synthetic type I pyrethroid. Structurally similar to the protein phosphatase 2B (calcineurin) inhibitors cypermethrin and deltamethrin but weakly active or inactive depending on assay conditions. May be used as a negative control for cypermethrin (Prod. No. BML-PR100) and deltamethrin (BML-PR101)
