A dual inhibitor of COX-1/COX-2 and 5-LO (IC50s = 0.16 µM and 0.23 µM for human thrombocyte COX and human 5-LO, respectively); decreases levels of PGE2, LTB4, and lipoxins and prevents LPS-stimulated IL-1β expression; causes little or no damage to the gastric mucosa in rabbit parietal cells
