CPMTS from Biotium, Inc.

Biotium developed CPMTS as an alternative to the widely used thiol-reactive coumarin dye CPM. CPMTS and CPM have nearly identical absorption and emission spectra. However, CPMTS contains a MTS group, which could make the dye more advantageous than CPM for sulfhydryl labeling because of the high selectivity and reactivity of MTS reagents toward thiol groups.
