Description
Nasunin, an antioxidant anthocyanin, possesses antiangiogenic activity. In VitroNasunin at higher 10 µM suppresses microvessel outgrowth in an ex vivo angiogenesis assay using a rat aortic ring. Nasunin suppresses HUVEC proliferation in a dose-dependent manner (50-200 µM). Nasunin diminishes LPS-induced nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activation by suppressing the\ndegradation of inhibitor of κB-α and nuclear translocation of p65 subunit of NF-κB. Nasunin also attenuates the phosphorylation of Akt and p38, signaling molecules involved in pro-inflammatory mediator production. MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.Form:Solid
