Meropenem-d6 is a deuterium labelled carbapenem antibiotic. As a derivative of Carbapenem, Meropenem-d6 is ready for use as an internal standard for meropenem quantification via GC-MS or LC-MS. Meropenem-d6 is active against a variety of clinical isolates of Gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria in vitro. Meropenem-d6 may be formulated to use in the treatment of some bacterial infections
