KKII5 is a potent Lipoxygenase ( LOX-1 ) inhibitor with an IC 50 of 19 µM. KKII5 inhibits lipid peroxidationIn VitroKKII5 interacts with HIS499 of the cavity by forming one π–π stacking interaction between the phenyl ring of the molecule and the imidazole ring of HIS499.
