A FASN inhibitor (IC50 = 213 nM); inhibits the proliferation of PC3 and MV4-11 cells (IC50s = 47 and 26 nM, respectively); inhibits FASN activity in a 14C-acetate incorporation assay using BT474 cells (IC50 = 90 nM); reduces tumor growth and increases intratumoral levels of the FASN substrate malonyl-CoA in an MV4-11 mouse xenograft model at 25 and 50 mg/kg; inhibits infection of HEK293T-hACE2 cells with SARS-CoV-2-mNG (EC50 = 17 nM)
